Founded in 2001, the Darien Garden Club is a not-for-profit, 501(c)4, member of the Garden Clubs of Illinois Inc. and the National Garden Clubs, Inc. Central Region. We have over 100+ active members from many surrounding communities.

Welcome to our Gardening Community! No residency required!

We are a nurturing environment for both new and experienced gardeners, nature lovers, environmentalists, and anyone with an interest in horticulture. Our club provides a space for people to meet, share their experiences, and learn from one another. We foster a love of gardening, expand horticultural knowledge, and promote respect for the natural environment- all while cultivating lasting friendships and a strong sense of community.

We invite you to attend a monthly meeting.

We always welcome guests and new members! You’re invited to attend two meetings free of charge. Our monthly programs often feature professional speakers, plant exchanges, and other engaging activities that celebrate the joy of gardening and connecting with nature. Meetings are generally held on the first Monday of every month at St. John Lutheran Church, 7214 Cass Avenue, Darien, IL. 60561 Social time begins at 6:30 pm. The meeting starts at 7:00.
