Welcome Sprouts Members & Guests!
DGC Sprouts is our Youth Garden Club for children and families!
This initiative helps inspire and engage a new generation of gardeners by way of Regular Meetings, Gardening 101 Lessons, and Child Friendly Activities both at home and in community gardens. DGC Sprouts delivers the garden club’s mission to the littlest green thumbs! All ages are welcome to attend, and must be accompanied by an adult.
Sprouts Mission Statement
Darien Garden Club’s Sprouts program delivers our club’s mission to children and families interested in learning about gardening and horticulture. We emphasize hands-on, child-friendly lessons and activities for home and community gardening. Our purpose is to inspire and engage a new generation of gardeners.

Sprouts families and local Scouts families are welcome to join us in the Learning Garden!
We will be planting seeds and seedlings for our seasonal vegetable garden.

The Sprouts Youth Garden Club collected the following at their drive-through recycling event:
11 bags of athletic shoes
53 pounds of plastic bags
266 pounds of batteries
30 pounds of Lithium batteries
Box full of Bread Tags
They sure made a difference for the environment!
