This DGC MEMBERS ONLY event will be held at member Evenin Sunyog’s beautiful garden. We’ll enjoy English tea fare and a presentation by our member Eli Voigt. Eli has lived in the UK and his presentation will explore the role our gardens play in our homes, families, and neighborhoods. Making comparison to English gardens, we can deepen our enjoyment, appreciation, and satisfaction of our own gardens….and we can create more harmony in our communities, relationships, and sense of self.
Eli Voigt has been an amateur garden enthusiast since childhood on the great northern plains where he collected wild prairie flowers. Since then, he has lived in 6 midwestern states, the UK and Israel, and has toured gardens across northern Europe. Between year-round Mediterranean patios and the short-lived seasons of the north, he has observed the different roles that gardens play in different climates and cultures.
