Our speaker, Cindy Crosby, has a master's degree in natural resources from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She is a Master Gardener and teaches in the Master Naturalist program. She has decades of experience as prairie steward and volunteer, including managing work on the fourth oldest restored prairie in North America, involvement with dragonfly monitors and programs in Illinois, and work at The Morton Arboretum and Nachusa Grasslands.
